Coins for a Cure: September 23-27

In support of Painting the Town Gold and Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, the Edwardsville School District is GOING GOLD. Each school in District 7 will be collecting coins that will be donated for Pediatric Cancer Research.

This initiative, led by Todd Schultz, Edwardsville High School Graduate and Founder of Painting the Town Gold, has a mission to spread awareness and raise funds for research during the month of September (Childhood Cancer Awareness month).

Save your coins and get ready to join our community as we all GO GOLD!!

Collections will take place the week of September 23rd.

Edwardsville Arts Center to Feature Work by Summer Zone Students

During the 2019-20 Summer Zone session, students had the opportunity to work with members from the Edwardsville Arts Center as part of their “Masterpiece Mondays.”  Each week featured a new medium and art technique to help spark student creativity.

The Edwardsville Arts Center, located on the campus of Edwardsville High School, will feature “Masterpiece Mondays by Summer Zone Kids” in its student gallery from August 23 – September 4.  The opening reception for this event will be held Friday, August 23, from 6-8 pm.
