It is important for students to give proper documentation for sources used during the research process. Listed below are some sample entries. If the source does not have an author, just begin the entry with the title.

Book – One Author

Encyclopedia Article

Last Name, First Name (author of article). “Title.” Title of Encyclopedia. Year.

Internet Article

Last Name, First Name (author of article). Title. [Online] Available http://address,

Date of document or date of download.

Periodical Article – Weekly

Last Name, First Name (author of article). “Title.” Periodical Name day Month

Year: page numbers.

Periodical Article – Monthly – same as weekly except omit day
