Free or Reduced Meals
Participation in the NSLP allows District 7 to offer free or reduced-priced meals to eligible students. Parents or guardians interested in the free and reduced meal program must fill out an application and provide all necessary information. Applications should be sent to the Food Service Office at 708 St. Louis Street, Edwardsville, Illinois, 62025, for review and determination of status. The Food Service Office handles processing of all applications. After review, each applicant is sent his/her status in writing: free, reduced, or denied. The school will be notified of any change in a student’s status.
Students approved to receive free or reduced meals may continue receiving free or reduced meals for the first 30 days of the following school year. Parents/guardians must reapply before the end of the first 30 days of the school year, or the student will be removed from the free or reduced program.
Students cannot begin to receive free or reduced meals until the food service office approves a completed application. Information on applications and the status of students remain confidential.

Lunch Money Simplified
Why should I use MySchoolBucks?
Edwardsville School District continues to be committed to developing products and services that help school operations run more efficiently and provide convenience to parents who use our services. Since 2002, MySchoolBucks has benefited parents and districts nationwide.
The District’s mission is to provide a quality service to all our customers, and we are proud to utilize this program, which features the ability to view students’ purchases and their spending history, low balance email notifications, the ability to set daily/weekly spending limits for a child, and the capability to set up a child to purchase meals only or a-la-carte. The Edwardsville School District wants to make life easier for parents who don’t want to worry about lunch money. We are deeply committed to making parents’ experience with MySchoolBucks a pleasant one.
Is there a fee for using this service?
There is a transaction fee of $2.49 each time parents fund their child’s MySchoolBucks account. The fee is applied to each school site listed on the account. If parents have more than one child attending the same school, then the fee will only be applied once, IF funding is completed for all students at the same time.
All fees will be displayed BEFORE you complete a transaction. If parents do not wish to continue making the payment, they can cancel before being charged.
Are there any other functions available with this program?
This program will allow parents to be better informed about their child’s purchases in the school cafeteria — parents can monitor the meals their child consumes, as well as the balance on their child’s account. It also provides parents with the option of choosing what their children can eat!
Parents can use our website for its free services, which include notification emails when their child’s balance goes below $5.00 and the ability to see what the balance in their child’s account is at the end of each day. Additionally, the District also has features that allow parents to set any spending limits for their child and view what they have eaten for the last seven days with our meal history feature.
