Social Science Curriculum Review Update

As a kick-off for our Social Science Curriculum review, our committee members spent some time learning about what the committee entails and discussing items they would like to see addressed during the review.  Committee members also learned what is currently taught across grade levels and courses, and then began to dive into the Illinois Social Science learning standards.

Parents without internet access may still contact their child’s building or teachers directly to set up an appointment.

1st Grade Science Curriculum Update

Hands-on learning is a big part of the new Science curriculum.  Check out some of our first graders as they learned how craters are formed by experimenting with marbles, flour and cocoa powder. Do you know what happens if you drop a marble from a farther distance?
