Black History Month

In addition to the annual art contest held at the elementary buildings, our schools and teachers are incorporating many activities throughout the month of February in celebration of Black History Month. Students have been involved in classroom-based activities as well as school-wide activities surrounding the study of famous African-Americans. Teachers have incorporated these studies into their daily reading and writing lessons.
